Free Standing Murphy Bed

Despite jokes and comedy routines, a Murphy bed is an excellent   solution for living in a confined area like a small apartment or house during   the daytime.  Unfortunately, landlords   are not always accessible to tenants who install a larger facility like a   Murphy bed when it needs to be attached to a wall.  Most freestanding beds are oriented   horizontally so they take up the same amount of wall space as a standard bed   when placed lengthways against a wall.    When folded, they look like a large closet.

They fold out into either a double bed or a standard bed size for   night comfort and then fold back up so you have plenty of floor space during   the day.
