Wedding Columns For Sale

Wedding pillars can be combined with wedding arches and other   decorations to give your festive decor a traditional look.  They can also be used for other occasions,   e.g.  B. for graduation ceremonies,   boardrooms, libraries and more.    Columns were once an integral part of architecture and were used to   simply support buildings.  Now they   have become more decorative in their uses.

Imitated Roman   columns

These man-made Roman columns are made of plastic but look like   they were found along Via Marcus Aurelius or in the Roman Forum.  They are of course much smaller, so they   are perfect as part of your wedding decorations.  They can accommodate a 10 by 10 inch flower   plate or can be used to support other meaningful decorations.  They can also be used to decorate a   boardroom, library, or even a birthday party.    They are great as a temporary decoration or as a more permanent room   decoration.

These Roman columns give dignity and solemnity regardless of where   they are placed.  They are easy to   transport and easy to store.  They can   be exhibited or kept for use at various events.  In addition to weddings, meetings, and   birthdays, they can also be attractive for graduation.

Pointed Venetian   wedding columns

Support beautiful flower arrangements, mark the path for the   procession, flank the pedestal for the person officiating at the ceremony, or   just use it as a general decoration.    These lacy Venetian wedding pillars can easily be used as decoration,   traffic control, and more.  Forty-one   inches tall and twelve inches wide at the base, they are certainly hard to   ignore.  Cover them with bouquets of   flowers, meaningful symbols or just leave them simple.  Add streamers or cables to direct traffic   or set up reserved seating for family members.

No matter where you place these beautiful pillars, they will add   to the general celebrations for any occasion.    Use them to support special items to be used in the ceremony or to   mark special locations.  Her delicate   regal appearance is both dignified and festive and perfect for weddings,   graduations, or similar life milestones.    They could even be used as a farewell party for someone who has   recently retired and is preparing to fulfill their dreams.

Adjustable Roman   wedding columns

If you like the look of Roman columns in your festive   celebrations, you will love these adjustable Roman columns.  Sections can be stacked up to three high or   just one, creating three height options ranging from forty-one inches to   sixty-seven inches, with no feather or flower balls to be placed on top.  Each column comes with a 15 “base,   which is 12” square for stand and stability, and a similar sized   topper.  Decorations add height.  Avoid adding heavy decorations as these   could destabilize the pillars.

The pillars can be used on stairs or can be used to create a sense   of build on something and raise the eyes to a central location.  They are easy to assemble and   dismantle.  Because of their section,   they are easy to store.  Weddings,   graduations, retirement parties and more – almost anything can be decorated   with these pillars.

Crystal studded   pillars

This graceful urn on a pillar will almost take your breath   away.  The base of the pure white   plinth is inlaid with tiny metal plates, and the bands of these shiny plates   are repeated in every narrow interval of the column and at the base of the   urn.  The urn is decorated with a   crossed floral pattern made of raised material.  At the intersection of each line   intersection there is a white cabochon crystal drop.  The whole effect is rich, beautiful, and   yet somehow reserved, especially when the urn is filled with a bouquet of   white roses and the baby’s breath.    It’s the perfect choice to flank the altar at a wedding or to adorn   the base of the stairs at a baptism.    This is the perfect decoration for an event of great solemnity and joy.

Basic budget   Venetian columns

These simple pillars are cheaper than some of the fancier ones,   but they can still do the job.  They   can include floral decorations, light busts and other symbolic sculptures,   mark traffic areas and demarcate areas of reserved seating.  They look good, are easy to set up and do   not ring alarm bells in the wedding register.    They are a beautiful, conservative decoration that, while not sending   out rockets labeled “extravagantly beautiful”, shows signs that you are   putting some thought and care into planning the wedding setting.

Add in some lovely flower arrangements that will show off the   bride and groom’s color choices and you will have something that is memorable   and tasteful.  They can be easily   stored and used for other occasions such as graduations, board meetings, and   even birthday parties.

Create a stately   colonnade

Not every column is intended for a wedding, graduation, or other   celebration.  Some are just for   everyday use or to decorate the interior of your home.  This is the case with the connected upper   column.  It can be placed in any part   of your home that could use an accent.    They’re not intended as a support, but they can help hold up a   lightweight cloth bag or help maintain the corners of a false ceiling.

They can also be used to attach Christmas lights, curtains, or to   frame a special closet.  The pillars   are eight feet tall and can be painted to match any decor, including faux   marble.  They can be used to give your   interior decor a Roman or Greek look.

Elegant wedding   pillar

This elegant column has the corrugation of many Greek or Roman   columns.  It can be ordered in a   variety of heights, starting at 24 inches and going up to just over ten   feet.  It can be used as a wedding   pillar by placing floral decorations or symbolic ornaments on each base, or   it can be used as a more permanent decorative element in your home.  It will easily fit in a library, boardroom,   office, or even your dining room.  Its   economical design goes with almost any decor, from shabby chic to modern   shapes.

It is made of weatherproof resin / plastic and can be used   outdoors.  Combined with an arbor or   garden statue, these pillars can help transform your home gardens into a   mirror image of those found in Italy.

Greek column   base

Enhance the way to your wedding altar with this sand colored base   or decorate your flower beds.  It’s   weather resistant and can work well indoors or outdoors.  Just position it and fill it with sand.  Otherwise, you can use the top to place   flower plates or other pretty decorations on the base.  The sand-colored surface is easy to care   for.  If necessary, wipe them with a   soft cloth.  You can also top it off   with light busts or other interesting ornaments.  Just a note of caution: it CANNOT be used   with eye balls.  The heavy metal balls   get too warm for the resin composition of the base.

Considerations   When Purchasing Columns

Some things to think about when purchasing pillars as wedding   decorations are where they will be used, how many of them you will need, what   height will be most practical, and – of course – what you will be decorating   them with.  Some pillars are more   expensive than others, some work both indoors and outdoors, while others can   only be used indoors.  Poly / resin   columns are popular and often work both indoors and outdoors.  They are easy to set up and easy to take   off and store.

Applications of   columns

Columns can be used for a variety of purposes.  You can carry vases, urns, bouquets of   flowers, and light ornaments.  Larger   pillars can be used to support strips of fabric or more formal types of   arches.  They can be used to hold up   decorative ropes to control the flow of traffic at a major event.  Small pillars can be embedded in flower   beds to support urns or small, light sculptures.

Construction   and maintenance of poly resin and acrylic columns

Pillars are often filled with sand, especially the base.  This will help them stand up without being   staked out or sunk into the ground.    They are easy to care for.    Simply wipe them regularly with a soft cloth to remove any dust or   dirt that may have fallen on them.    Although they may deteriorate from the sun, they will last for many   years with minimal attention.  This   means that the pillars that you used to mark the area for your wedding   procession can become garden decorations that will last for several years.

Symbolism and   columns

For the ancients, columns often represented trees. Trees   represented life.  They bore fruit,   things nested in their branches, they gave shade and they provided wood for   warmth, light and furniture.  In fact,   some of the earliest pillars were tree trunks that were turned upside down to   prevent them from growing.  This would   not be necessary for all tree species, but willow can be grown from cuttings,   for example.  Columns represent the   masculine principle, not only for obvious reasons, but because they were   often the supporting part of a house, temple, or official building.  For Eastern Indians, a pillar could   represent the chakras, which are believed to be arranged in a straight line   on the back.  The curling sections   above depicted ram horns. Other designs depicted leaves or fruit.

Columns in   architecture

Columns were once an integral part of the architecture of a large   building for one simple and practical reason: They held up the roof.  Before engineers learned about arches and   invented steel beams and similar modern building materials, pillars were   essential to support large roof areas.    Nowadays, pillars can do this function, but the acrylic or poly resin   decorative pillars can create the illusion of the olden days by using pillars   in a way that seems to hold something, although mostly on display.  If you like something like this, you can   use pillars to create some kind of artificial ruin in your garden or near   your terrace.

Buy columns

There are many options when buying decorative pillars.  Many of them mimic real columns that were   used in ancient architecture.  For your   garden or event, consider the purpose of the columns, the number required,   the individual or collective cost, and your overall budget for   decoration.  Size also matters as   decorative pillars come in a variety of sizes, from about 2 feet high to over   10 feet high.  There are also some   differences in the size of the base and the top surface.  Thinking about these sizes is important in   achieving the look you want.  It would   not be enough to place, for example, a ten foot high column in a room with an   eight foot high ceiling.  You also   don’t want to try putting a large flower tray on a 6-inch column.

If you plan to put a peek ball or other heavy object on the   column, make sure it is suitable for it.    Stainless steel spheres can be heavy and heat up in the sun.  Stone or clay sculptures can also be   challenging.  You want the right column   to support such elements.  This is an   important factor for the longevity of your pedestal.
