Federal Investigation Leads to Arrests in Alleged ISIS Support Case

Posted on June 10, 2026 By admin

Federal authorities have announced the arrest of three men accused of conspiring to provide material support to the terrorist organization known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). According to the United States Department of Justice, the investigation involved allegations that the suspects discussed ways to assist the group through financial contributions and other forms of support.

The individuals identified by officials are Bisaam Ghafoor, Elias Shamsaldeen, and Bereen Dzayee. Prosecutors allege that the three men collectively sent funds to an individual they believed to be affiliated with ISIS and engaged in discussions related to supporting the organization. The allegations are contained in court documents, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Following the arrests, Kash Patel praised the work of investigators, stating that the operation demonstrated the agency’s ongoing efforts to identify and disrupt potential threats before they escalate. Federal law enforcement agencies regularly monitor and investigate suspected activities involving designated foreign terrorist organizations as part of broader national security initiatives.

The case will now move through the judicial process, where evidence presented by prosecutors and the defense will be reviewed in court. Officials continue to encourage the public to remain vigilant and report credible information related to potential security concerns while emphasizing that legal proceedings are necessary to determine the outcome of the allegations.
