The divorce, ironically, gave me the clarity and drive I needed to rebuild. I left the hospital not just physically healthier, but mentally stronger. My work became my solace, and my company flourished like never before, fueled by a newfound determination.

In the aftermath, I realized I had been living two lives: one as Brandon’s wife, the other as a capable CEO.

He had only seen the former, blinded by his assumptions and selfishness. His departure, painful as it was, freed me from the shackles of his neglect and gave me the space to embrace my full self.
