They were my grandmother’s, passed down through generations. My mother had worn them on her wedding day, and now it was my turn. My dad, with a warmth that could melt glaciers, handed them to me. “These,” he said, his voice steady and full of love, “are a reminder that family is about more than money. It’s about love, sacrifice, and respect.”
